What is Dip Powder?
Dip powder is a type of nail enhancement product used to create a durable and long-lasting manicure that’s often considered a healthy alternative to traditional acrylic nails. Dip manicures involve a multi-step process where the natural nail is prepped, a base coat is applied, and the nail is dipped into a fine, pigmented powder. This process is repeated for desired color intensity, and then an activator is applied to dry and cure the powder to a hard finish. Finally, the nails are buffed and shaped, and a top coat is added for shine and protection. Compared to other manicure options, dip powder requires zero drying time and no UV light to cure.
What Makes SNS's Dips Higher Quality?
Only the SNS dipping powder system has Nutri-Plus™, a powerful combination of nutrient-rich ingredients added to all the base coat and powders. In addition, SNS powders are finer milled, making for easier application and a more vivid and consistent finish. The SNS “color genius” laboratory has the most advanced system for color design, with the finest and most pigmented colors available. With over 800 SNS colors offered and 200 matching colors for pedicures in the SNS GelStar™ and Nail Lacquer lines, SNS provides perfectly matched manicures and pedicures in a wide range of shades. The SNS dip powder system does not contain any of the 13 toxic chemicals often found in most nail products, along with many other allergenic or harmful ingredients.
